I've been sewing for 30+ years, starting with designing and decorating custom Barbie homes for my sister when we were kids, to today, working on pieces for real homes. And I still very much enjoy it. There's something fun or interesting or challenging about each custom upholstery piece. 

Mixed in with those years are traveling, ski bumming, hiking, camping, kids, video games, table top games, knitting, dogs, volunteering, teaching, biking, and books.
